HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -
A Harrisburg man who had been missing for two weeks when he was found dead is the victim of a homicide, according to the Dauphin County Coroner.
Coroner Graham Hetrick said during a news conference Thursday that 37-year-old Marcus Garner was killed by a gunshot wound to the head.
Garner's body was found Wednesday evening in a vacant garage in the 600 block of North 18th Street.
Police had been looking for him because he had not been in contact with friends or family since the day before Thanksgiving.
Hetrick said investigators have not determined how long the body was in the garage. The vacant building had no roof and left the body exposed to the elements.
Anyone who may have seen Garner since November 21 is asked to call Harrisburg police.
