Police: Man tried to abduct girl, 9, in Harrisburg

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

Harrisburg police are reporting an attempted abduction. It happened around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday near 13th and Kittatinny Streets.

Police said a man grabbed a 9-year-old girl as she was walking home from school and tried to pull her into an alley. Officers said she got away unharmed and ran to a relative's home.

This comes after two abductions and sexual assaults earlier this week, both in the City of Harrisburg.
