Police have arrested four men accused of robbing a 20-year-old Lancaster County resident in his home.
Seth H. Wolf, 24, and Dakota R. Pierce, 19, both of Denver, and Cain N. Mendenhall, 18, and John E. Stanley, 21, both of Stevens, were taken into custody Thursday and charged with robbery, criminal conspiracy, and theft, according to Manheim Township police.
Police said three of the men were wearing masks Wednesday night when they knocked on a door in the 2600 block of North Duke Street. Two of them were armed with a bat and a knife, and the four demanded cash and began to collect electronics and DVDs from the residence.
One of the men was known to the victim, police said.
A confrontation and a struggle occurred during the incident in which the victim was struck with the baseball bat and one of the suspects was injured with the knife. The suspects then fled the residence with a small amount of cash, police said.
A short time later, one of the men entered the Ephrata Hospital Emergency Room with a minor stab wound, and investigators were able to identify the suspects, police said.
Wolf was sent to Lancaster County Prison on $50,000 cash bail. The others were being held on $25,000 cash.
