LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) -
Lancaster police said they targeted the southwest area of the city for prostitution this week and arrested three women who offered sex for money to undercover officers posing as "johns."
Arrested were Lisa Ann Piergallini, 34, of the first block of East Walnut Street; Milagros Rivera, 56, of the 400 block of West King Street; and Amy Sue Woerner, 40, of the 100 block of New Dorwart Street, according to police.
Each of the women was charged with prostitution and related offenses.
Police said the area was targeted for prostitution after numerous complaints from citizens and business owners.
City records indicate there were about 40 complaints this year to the county's 911 center alone, and police said that number does not include complaints made via email, the police bureau's website, or those made directly to officers.
