FAYETTEVILLE, Pa. (WHTM) -
Three people were taken to the hospital after an accident following a police pursuit in Franklin County.
State police reported that a trooper noticed a vehicle driving erratically on South Mountain Rd. just before midnight on Saturday. The trooper pursued the vehicle, and the driver did not pull over. The driver then struck a telephone pole near Dixon Rd. and overturned.
Three passengers were taken to the hospital for evaluation, but there is no word on their condition.
The driver, 21-year-old B. J. Smith, was taken to the Franklin County Jail on a detainer from Franklin County probation.
