Tips wanted in smash-and-grab burglary

DENVER, Pa. (WHTM) -

Lancaster City/County Crime Stoppers is looking for help from the public in solving a smash-and-grab burglary.

A thief during the early hours of September 10 smashed the glass from the front door of Morphy Auctions, at 2000 North Reading Road in Denver, then took a large amount of jewelry and related items, according to East Cocalico police.

The business is located on Route 272, less than a mile from the Lancaster/Reading interchange of the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

Anyone with information may contact East Cocalico police at (717) 336-1725 or Lancaster City/County Crime Stoppers at (800) 322-1913.
