Convict faces charges for string of burglaries

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police are reporting that a convicted felon was responsible for a string of burglaries across Lancaster County back in November.

Police filed charges Tuesday against Steven M. Laird for burglary and other related offenses.

They said he committed burglaries at five different locations in Salisbury, Sadsbury and Paradise townships; including Blanks Service Center in Gap, Golden Petroleum Service Station in Paradise, Paradiso Pizza in Paradise, Harold's Oak House in Christiana, and the VFW in Gap.

Laird is currently incarcerated in the Chester County Prison for unrelated crimes.
