U.S. Marshal Martin J. Pane announced today the arrest of Kenneth Slaughter, a 25-year-old man from Harrisburg, for sex crimes against children.
Slaughter was being sought on an arrest warrant issued on December 7.
Starting in September, Susquehanna Township police investigated the alleged sexual abuse of two children by Slaughter, who was charged with two counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a minor, two counts of corruption of minors and two counts unlawful sexual contact with a minor.
Susquehanna Township police requested assistance from the U.S. Marshals to locate and arrest Slaughter.
At 9 a.m. Wednesday morning, police and the Marshals checked a residence in the Hall Manor public housing project, where they arrested Slaughter without incident.
Slaughter was then taken to the Dauphin County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail.
