Lancaster City union firefighters will be getting a raise next year.
Starting July 1, firefighters will see a 3 percent increase in pay. They will see another 3.5 percent increase in 2014.
Union and city leaders have been in talks for a while.
Lancaster Mayor Rick Gray said the dispute will have a financial impact on the city. He said taxpayers will have to foot the bill for the cost of experts, legal fees, and an arbitrator, who cost the city $11,000.
