Three people have been taken into custody for a shots fired incident and a resulting police pursuit in York.
Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Boundary Avenue for the shots fired incident shortly after 11:18 a.m. Thursday, according to police.
No one was injured by the gunfire.
Witnesses at the scene gave a description of the vehicle involved, but when police tried to stop the car minutes later, they said the driver led them on a chase before crashing into a utility pole in the 300 Block of Springdale Avenue.
Three people fled from the vehicle but were captured after a search of nearby backyards, police said.
Officers said they found two guns and a quantity of illegal narcotics in the area.
Police said charges are pending against the suspects, who were not immediately identified.
