GAP, Pa. (WHTM) -

A 6-year-old boy died after being struck by a vehicle Friday afternoon in Lancaster County.

The accident happened just before 3:30 p.m. just north of Gap in Salisbury Township.

Police said the child was riding on a scooter and was struck by a vehicle on the 5600 block of Old Philadelphia Pike.

No other information was immediately released.
