A Lancaster County teen is accused of making threats of gun violence at Solanco High School.
State police in Lancaster said the Quarryville teen reportedly threatened to bring a gun to Solanco High School and said he wanted to be like the shooter at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut.
The 16-year-old was taken into custody without incident at his home and was being detained at the Lancaster County Youth Intervention Center. His name was not released.
The Sandy Hook gunman, Adam Lanza, killed his mother and then shot 26 children and school staff members before killing himself on Friday.
