2 arrested in Mechanicsburg robbery case

MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police have made two arrests in a Mechanicsburg robbery case from Dec. 6.

On the night of Dec. 6, officers responded to a call to the 300 block of East Main Street. The occupants of the apartment reported that they had been held up at gun point while cash and drugs were taken from their residence. Two of the victims were reportedly struck in the head with a gun.

Police said that two of the four individuals involved in the robbery have been identified and charged.

On Dec. 7, 19-year-old Vaughn Crane of Mechanicsburg was arrested and charged with robbery, theft and burglary.

Then on Dec. 17, 18-year-old Patrick Bordner, Jr. turned himself in to police. His preliminary hearing was held on Dec. 19. In addition to the charges of robbery, theft and burglary, Bordner was also charged with aggravated and simple assault.

Both men are currently out on bail.
