HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

School districts in the region continue to make changes in security procedures after the Newtown, Connecticut tragedy.

Central Dauphin School District officials met will local Lower Paxton Township and State Police to discuss safety improvements.  The district decided to lock all classroom doors during school hours in all buildings.

Julie Sucheski is a parent in the district.  She says she trusts the decisions that officials make to keep students safe, but she says some parents do not agree with the new policy.  She said her daughter is adjusting to the new security change and over time, the locked doors will become routine.
