No tax hike in Dauphin County, but 42 positions eliminated

Dauphin County commissioners have passed another budget without a tax hike.

This makes the 8th year in a row that commissioners have not had to raise taxes.

County leaders did have to cut 42 positions in order for that to happen. They said most of those positions are vacant and they did their best to keep as many people on board as possible.
