A federal grand jury in Harrisburg has returned an indictment charging a Harrisburg man with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine.
The indictment against 34-year-old Darnell Lamont Doss also charged him with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and use of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking, according to U.S. Attorney Peter Smith.
Doss's car was stopped July 27 by police who allegedly found a loaded handgun and crack cocaine in his possession, Smith said.
He faces a maximum penalty of life in prison if convicted.
