Lebanon County woman raises money for cancer research

Posted: Updated:
LEBANON, Pa. (WHTM) -

A Lebanon County woman is raising money and awareness for cancer research with her HOT 12 calendar, which is hot off the presses.

HOT stands for "Honorable, Outstanding and Talented," and the 2013 calendar highlights 12 outstanding people in Lebanon County.

The calendar is the creation of Leslie Hedge. Four years ago she was diagnosed with leukemia while she was pregnant with her daughter.

Doctors told Hedge they had a treatment for her that would cure it, and now she is helping to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Hedge said she's doing this so that people who are diagnosed can be given the same outcome she received.

A $20 donation will get you a copy of the calendar. For more information, click on the link below.
