
Police in Lancaster County have charged a 19-year-old man with purposely crashing his car in hopes of killing his girlfriend.
Police said Benjamin Klinger intentionally drove his car more than 100 miles per hour into a guardrail on Route 283 south near Strickler Road on December 4.
Police said he then suffocated the victim by sitting on her while her face was in the ground. Klinger faces numerous charges, including homicide and homicide by vehicle.
