Man shot in chest during early morning Harrisburg drive-by
A man was shot in the chest Wednesday morning while walking near the 1400 block of Market Street in Harrisburg, police said.
Police Lieutenant Robert Fegan said the man was shot around 1:40 a.m by someone in a passing vehicle. The victim, a 19-year-old man, said he was walking on Regina Street toward the Harrisburg Fried Chicken restaurant when he was shot for no reason.
Fegan said none of the victim's vital organs were struck. He was taken to Penn State Hershey Medical Center for treatment. His wound is not life-threatening.
