Baked Spaghetti

Bake Spaghetti from Dawson Flinchy of Flinchy's Restaurant Bar

  • 1 lb. ground meat
  • 1 medium yellow onion, diced
  • 1-2 tablespoon crushed garlic
  • 1 lb. spaghetti
  • 8 oz. tomato puree
  • 15 oz. crushed tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • Shredded mozzarella or parmesan cheese

Brown meat with garlic and onion. Cook spaghetti. Add tomato puree and crushed tomatoes to the browned meat. Add three eight oz. cans of water and a tablespoon of sugar. Simmer for one hour.

In a baking dish, layer in spaghetti, meat sauce, spaghetti, meat sauce, and cheese (shredded mozzarella or parmesan)

Bake or broil for 5-10 min. Serve with garlic bread sticks.
