HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -
A man walked into a Citizens Bank this afternoon with a soda bottle full of liquid, told tellers it was gas and threatened to light it on fire, Harrisburg police said.
They say he entered the bank, on the first block of South Second Street, at 12:50 this afternoon and passed a note to the teller demanding money.
"He threatened to light the gas and burn the clerks," police say. "He pulled a lighter from his pocket
and seemed agitated."
The teller gave the man a small amount of money. The robber left and no one was harmed.
Police say the perpetrator is about five feet ten inches tall and is missing a left front tooth. He appears to be in his 40s and was wearing a dark hooded jacket with a logo on the front and a white baseball cap. Police say he smelled like body odor.
