Police: vehicle strikes school van at railroad crossing

NEW HOLLAND, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police reported an incident involving a car striking a school van for Eastern Lancaster School District.

Officers said 52-year-old Linda Martin of New Holland was driving a van of students and stopped at a railroad crossing.

According to the report, 20-year-old Timothy Omalley, also of New Holland, was following the van and did not notice that Martin had stopped. Police said he struck the rear of the van with his 2000 Ford.

No one was injured in the incident.
