Lynchburg, VA - Family and friends said good-bye to an 86-year-old Lynchburg woman killed inside her own home.
Lynda Slocum's memorial service was Thursday morning at Westminster Presbyterian Church.
Slocum leaves behind a daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter from Richmond.
Exactly two weeks ago,police discovered her body inside her home on Ravenwood Drive with signs of forced entry.
Police have released very few details including a motive or cause of death, but investigators have ruled it a homicide.
