Campbell Co., VA - A new manufacturing facility is coming to Campbell County, creating up to 300 new jobs over the next three years.
Commonwealth Applied Silica Technologies, C.A.S.T., will establish the new facility on a portion of the former Archer Creek Internet Facility off Mt. Athos Rd.
The Virginia Tobacco Indemnification and Community Revitalization Commission, the Campbell County Board of Supervisors, and C.A.S.T. officials made the announcement Friday morning.
Two development grants from the Tobacco Commission and from Campbell County will help in the development and construction of the new facility.
Officials say the new center will add up to $35 million in capital investment including building renovations, building expansion and new machinery and tools.
