Two People on Moped Taken to Hospital After Accident in Lynchburg

Lynchburg, VA - Lynchburg police say it was SUV versus moped Friday on Bedford Avenue.

They got to the scene around 3 p.m.

Police say the driver of the SUV turned into the moped that had two people on it.

Both riders were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, thankfully.

Police say it appears right now that alcohol did play a role in this crash, but no charges have been filed at this time.
