A judge is allowing Jerry Sandusky to leave his state prison cell this week in order to appear at a court hearing in Centre County.
The judge has agreed to hear claims from the defense that it didn't have enough time to prepare for Sandusky's child sex abuse trial. The hearing is set for Thursday at the Centre County courthouse.
Back in June, Sandusky was convicted of sexually abusing 10 boys over a 15-year-period. The former Penn State coach is currently serving a 30 to 60 year state prison sentence.
