Commonwealth Avenue now open to traffic

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

Commonwealth Avenue, near the Capitol complex in Harrisburg, reopened Monday morning.

The road had been closed while UGI officials worked on an 83-year-old underground gas main. A gas leak was discovered there last Tuesday which forced the evacuation of the North office building.

Employees returned to work the next day.
