Posted: Updated:
HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

A 24-year-old Harrisburg woman told police she was watching a movie in her friend's van when she was shot Saturday morning in the 2400 block of Reel Street.

The victim and her friend reported that a man in a silver minivan stopped near them and fired several shots. Two of the bullets went through the sliding door of the van and into the woman's hip, police said.

Her friend drove her to the emergency room at Harrisburg Hospital. Neither victim had any idea who attacked them, police said.

The woman's friend, a 25-year-old suburban Harrisburg man, was treated for a cut on his foot from broken glass.

Anyone with information may call Dauphin County police dispatch at 717-558-6900.
