YORK, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police in York have arrested a second suspect in a shooting death that occurred during a carjacking in November.

Shamar McCowin, 23, of York, was taken into custody Friday.

McCowin and 18-year-old Malcolm Bull face charges of criminal homicide, robbery and conspiracy in the killing of Edward Leon Green.

Green was shot several times in the 400 block of West Princess Street during the early hours of November 6 and died later at a city hospital, according to police.

His 2007 Toyota Camry was stolen after the shooting and eventually recovered in the 400 block of West College Street, police said.

Bull was arrested November 13 and faces a preliminary hearing January 23.

Both men are being held in York County Prison without bail.
