A Dillsburg teenager has been identified as the driver who died in a single-vehicle crash Monday night on Route 15 in Cumberland County.More >>
CAMP HILL, Pa. (WHTM) -
Route 15 North was closed for several hours Monday night between the Rossmoyne and Slate Hill Road exits in Lower Allen Township, Cumberland County as police investigated a deadly crash.
Police were dispatched to an auto accident with a vehicle on fire around 8:20 p.m. on Jan. 7. Officers arrived on the scene to find a single vehicle had struck the support pillars for an overpass.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was ejected upon impact and pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said they believe speed was a factor in the crash. Anyone who witnessed the accident and has not already contacted police may call police at 717-238-9676.
