HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -
Harrisburg police are investigating a shooting incident that sent a man to the hospital Tuesday morning.
The victim, a 35-year-old Allison Hill resident, was being treated at Harrisburg Hospital. His name was not released.
The incident occurred in the 1900 block of Austin Street behind Bellevue Road at around 8:30 a.m.
The victim reported that he drove his child to school and then decided to drive
around. He said he drove to the alley and was about to urinate when he
heard shots fired and was hit in the thigh, police said.
He didn't have any idea who was shooting, he told police.
Officers found a number of spent casings near the car used by the man. The car is registered to another man from Allison Hill, police said.
No suspects are in custody.
