HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -
Harrisburg Mayor Linda Thompson will officially announce her bid for re-election next week.
"I am more determined and inspired than ever before about the work that remains to be done to continue to move the City of Harrisburg onward," Thompson wrote in a letter to supporters.
Thompson, who is currently serving her first term, goes on to say that her administration has made progress to eliminate Harrisburg's debt and deficit while fighting for businesses, jobs and safety in Harrisburg.
Thompson's announcement will be held on January 15 at 6 p.m. at Godwin Memorial
Hall.
