CAMP HILL, Pa. (WHTM) -
A Dillsburg teenager has been identified as the driver who died in a single-vehicle crash Monday night on Route 15 in Cumberland County.
Andrew Peterson, 17, struck the concrete
bridge support of the Rossmoyne Road overpass in Lower Allen Township, causing him to be ejected
from the car, according to Cumberland County Coroner Charley Hall.
Peterson died at the scene as the result of multiple traumatic
injuries, Hall said.
Route 15 North was closed for several hours between the
Rossmoyne and Slate Hill Road exits.
Police
have said they believe speed was a factor in the crash, but the investigation is ongoing.
