Blacksburg, VA – Blacksburg police have charged a Newport woman after a crash Monday that closed off Peppers Ferry Road.
Two vehicles collided at the intersection of North Main Street and Route 460 Monday. The drivers of both vehicles sustained injuries and were transported from the scene by rescue units.
Shelba J. Coleman, 72, has been charged with failing to yield the right-of-way.
