Nelson Co. Public Schools Closed After Bomb Threat

Nelson Co., VA - Students at Nelson County public schools have been sent home for the day after school leaders found a written bomb threat inside the high school Wednesday morning.

The Nelson County Sheriff's Office says they got the call around 10:45 a.m.

School officials say they decided to close all the schools as a precaution.

The sheriff's office has K-9 units sweeping Nelson County High School.
