Police: Victim wrestled would-be robber to the ground

YORK, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police in York said an armed robbery came to a halt when the victim fought back.

Police said a man with a gun walked into Young's Food Market on East King Street around 5:30 p.m. Thursday.

Police said he tried to strike someone with his gun, but that man wrestled him to the ground. After a shot was fired during the fight, police said the would-be robber took off with another man who was waiting outside.

No one was injured. The suspects have not been arrested.
