UPDATE: Driver of Moped Hit By Car in Roanoke Co, Taken to Hospital

Roanoke, Co, VA - The moped accident has been cleared from Brambleton Avenue, and officers are following up at the hospital where the operator of the moped was taken.


There is no word on the identity, condition, or even what hospital the moped driver was taken to at this time.

Roanoke Co, VA – Roanoke County Police, Fire, and Rescue are on the scene of an accident that involved a car and a moped. The driver of the moped has been transported to an area hospital.

Witnesses describe the moped as being almost completely destroyed.

The accident took place in the 4200 Block of Brambleton Avenue near Oakey's Funeral Service, according to Roanoke County Dispatch, which is just past the intersection of Electric Road.

No word on the name or condition of the driver of the moped.
