WEST YORK, Pa. (WHTM) -
Police are investigating an armed robbery in West York.
On Jan. 12 around 3 a.m. a walk-in complainant
reported that he was a victim of an armed robbery.
The victim, a 37-year-old pizza delivery driver for Mo-Mo's
Pizza & Wings in the 1000 block of Loucks's Road, told police he had completed a
food delivery to a residence in the vicinity.
Afterwards he was
approached by an unknown man who asked for a cigarette. The victim said he became nervous when a second
unknown man approached. The second man produced a handgun, pointed
it in the direction of the victim and demanded money. The victim handed him cash, which was reported to belong to the eatery,
Mo-Mo's Pizza & Wings.
He then fled on foot, running two blocks to
the West York police station.
The first perpetrators were described as being in his early 20s, 5'9" to 5'10" with a stocky build, dark hooded sweatshirt pulled over his eyes, dark jeans and black boots.
The second man, also in his early 20s, was 6' with a tall and lanky build, wearing black hooded
sweatshirt pulled over his eyes, black loose fit sweat pants and white
sneakers. He reportedly brandished a black handgun or pistol.
Both men were last seen running eastbound through an alleyway towards York City.
