LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) -

Charles "Ike" Stiffler Jr., 55 years old, of Manheim, was arrested on Jan. 11. Police say he abducted and sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl.

On Sept. 18 state police took a report of a missing juvenile from the girl's mother. Three days later the victim arrived back at her home and reported to police that she had been sexually assaulted by a man after he had taken her away from her home.

According to the investigation, Stiffler had taken the girl to a Quarryville residence for a couple days and then returned her near her home sometime after 1 a.m. on Sept. 21.

Police had contacted Stiffler during the investigation after learning that he had called the victim numerous times prior to her reported disappearance. Stiffler told officers that he did not know where she was when asked by State Troopers.

After a criminal investigation, the Lancaster County District Attorney's Office filed charges against Stiffler. He was charged with numerous crimes, including concealment of whereabouts of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault and corruption of minors.

On Jan. 11 Stiffler was arrested in Caernarvon Township in Lancaster County after a trooper spotted a suspicious vehicle in the Pool Forge Park around 9 p.m.

Stiffler was taken into custody and arraigned. His bail was set at $200,000, which was not posted. He was remanded to Lancaster County Prison.
