LEBANON, Pa. (WHTM) -
Flu vaccinations are available free of charge for Veterans enrolled in VA healthcare and VA staff.
Vaccinations are available for enrolled Veterans every business day in Building 17 on the fifth floor of the Lebanon VA Medical Center from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
No appointment is necessary.
Health officials say that flu season has not yet peaked, and it is not too late to get a shot. The flu vaccination is recommended for people 6 months of age and older. Protection can take up to two weeks to develop after vaccination, and it lasts about a year.
