Bomb threat called in to Labor & Industry building, no explosives found
HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -
No explosives were found after a bomb threat was called in to the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry building in Harrisburg.
The call came in at 4:05 on Tuesday afternoon. The caller said the bomb was going to go off in the next five minutes and that the building was going to come down, according to Department of General Services Spokesman Troy Thompson.
Capitol Police were called immediately and the building was evacuated. Bomb detection dogs did a sweep of the building.
The building is located on the 600 block of Boas Street in Harrisburg. The investigation continues.
