
Lynchburg - Caleb White scored a game-high 26 points, and V.E.S. withstood two last-second L.C.A. shots to win as the Bishops beat the Bulldogs 62-61 in overtime Tuesday night at V.E.S.
V.E.S. trailed for most of the game. The Bishops were down 13 points after the first quarter, storming back to within two at the half. L.C.A. still led by one after three, the fourth quarter and overtime stayed tight most of the way. Anthony Swann added 16 points for V.E.S., Skye Johnson 8.
B.J. Farrow led L.C.A. with 21, Cameron Holdren chipped in 15, Josh Majors 10. V.E.S. improves to 5-and-2 with the win, L.C.A. drops to 12-and-3 overall.
