Harrisburg Mayor Linda Thompson has officially announced that she's seeking a second term in office.
Thompson launched her re-election campaign Tuesday night with a speech to supporters. She compared her leadership to the past administration and said she has helped the city progress.
Thompson has two opponents so far including City Controller Dan Miller, who is also a Democrat, and Republican Nevin Mindlin, who previously ran for the post.
City Councilman Brad Koplinski said he is strongly considering a run for mayor.
