Hearing set for plans to build Chipotle on Chocolate Avenue

HERSHEY, Pa. (WHTM) -

The public will get a chance to officially weigh in on a plan to build a Chipotle restaurant on a vacant lot on historic Chocolate Avenue in Derry Township.

A zoning board hearing is scheduled for 6 p.m. Wednesday night at the township building.

The Hershey Trust owns the lot in question, but wants to sell it to a York area developer who wants to build the Chipotle.

There's an online petition circulating against the plan as well as a Facebook group supporting it.
