SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police have arrested two suspects during the investigation into Wednesday morning's bank robbery in Shippensburg.

The Orrstown Bank on Lurgan Avenue was robbed just before 10 a.m. The robber is described as a man of average build who wore a ski mask and mostly black clothes. Police said the man displayed a dark semi-automatic handgun and had a backpack.

The robber escaped with an undetermined amount of money, fleeing east from the bank on foot through the backyards of homes on Oak Lane and Franklin Heights.

Five employees were working in the bank at the time of the robbery. There were no injuries.

During the course of the investigation two suspects were taken into custody. Their identities are unknown at this time. Both suspects will be transported to the Franklin County Prison and arraigned.
