DOVER, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police in York County are investigating a prowler report in Dover Township.

Northern York County Regional police said a resident of the 2700 block of Grandview Avenue reported that she heard someone knocking on her window and then try to open the door to her home Tuesday night.

The resident did not see anyone and officers who checked the surrounding area did not find anyone.

Anyone with information is asked to call Northern York County Regional police at 717-292-3647.
