CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) -

Three people have been arrested for a rash of home burglaries in Adams and Cumberland counties.

Middlesex Township police announced charges Thursday against Jeremy Lentvorsky, 28; Amy Michelle Copp, 29, both of Biglerville; and Cassie Arlene Swartz, 25, of Carlisle.

Police said Lentvorsky burglarized at least 27 homes after knocking on the doors. If someone answered, he would ask about a his dog. If no one was home, police said he went into the houses and stole property such as money and jewelry.

He was being held in the Cumberland County Prison on $25,000 bail.

Authorities said Copp and Swartz helped to sell the stolen goods at pawn shops. The money, they said, was used to fund drug habits.

Copp was charged with 10 counts each of receiving stolen property and conspiracy, while Swartz was charged with one count each of receiving stolen property and conspiracy.

Each was released on $10,000 unsecured bail.
