No one injured in Silver Spring Township garage fire

MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

Fire crews were able to put out a garage fire in Silver Spring Township before the flames could spread to the adjacent home just after 10 p.m. Friday.

Neighbors in a nearby mobile home park said that flames could earlier be seen shooting from the roof of the garage at a home located at 145 Appalachian Drive.

Chief Doug McDonald of the Silver Spring Fire Department said the fire was reported as a vehicle burning in a garage. An adjacent breezeway gave crews enough time to put out the flames before they reached the house.
