One dead, one hospitalized after late-night crash in Lebanon Co.

SCHAEFFERSTOWN, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police are investigating a late-night car crash in Lebanon County that left one dead and put another in the hospital.

Officers said 51-year-old Jose Marrero of Ephrata was driving on Route 501 in Heidelberg Township when he lost control of his vehicle going around a curve.

The car hit the guide rail and flipped on its side.

Marrero was killed at the scene.

A 16-year-old boy was taken to Lancaster General Hospital.
