Police: woman smothered two cats, attempted to kill third

LEBANON, Pa. (WHTM) -

State police are investigating a case of animal cruelty out of Lebanon County.

According to troopers, 42-year-old Monica Seigfried of Lebanon is accused of killing two cats and attempting to kill a third in Swatara Township.

Officers said Seigfried used a rag soaked with spray lubricant to smother them.

Seigfried faces animal cruelty charges.
